DevOps Engineer Experience: 3–8 Years Location: Mumbai / Navi Mumbai Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 3–8 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, containerization, monitoring, and deployment operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of modern DevOps practices and be comfortable working closely with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment speed, system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code. Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications. Manage application environments across development, testing, staging, and production. Monitor system performance, availability, logs, and infrastructure health. Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, networking, and production issues. Implement backup, recovery, logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms. Work with development teams to improve application deployment and release processes. Implement security best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and cloud environments. Manage access controls, secrets, certificates, and environment configurations. Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost. Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive actions. Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

Requirements

Required Skills

Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD concepts

Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar

Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization

Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible

Good understanding of Linux administration and shell scripting

Experience with Git and version control workflows

Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancers, firewalls, and reverse proxies

Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK Stack, CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar

Understanding of application and infrastructure security best practices

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Experience with Helm

Knowledge of Nginx, Apache, or Caddy

Experience managing relational or NoSQL databases

Knowledge of Redis, message queues, or distributed systems

Experience with secrets management tools such as HashiCorp Vault or cloud-native secret managers

Familiarity with SRE practices, observability, and incident management

Experience with automated security scanning and DevSecOps practices

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell

Experience working with microservices-based applications

Familiarity with high-availability and disaster-recovery architectures

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3–8 years of relevant DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
